We welcome you to the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI). Our mission is to build a premier center for basic and translational cardiovascular research. We will integrate the exceptionally strong clinical cardiology programs with cutting edge basic and translational research programs at Weill Cornell to move seamlessly between bench and bedside, with the goal of bringing novel approaches to diagnosis, prevention, and therapy of cardiovascular diseases.
